For adults (12 years and older): Take two capsules initially followed by one capsule after each loose bowel movement. Do not exceed eight capsules per day. Imodium should be taken by the mouth. Remember to drink plenty of clear fluids.
You should not use if: constipated, swollen abdomen, abdominal pain; bacterial infection in your digestive system, suspect food poisoning, inflammation of the lower bowel; taking prescription drugs that cause constipation.
