SHUFFLE! is the story of Rin, an orphaned boy who remains friends with a girl who lost her mother in the same accident that killed his parents. Soon thereafter, a devil princess and a princess of the gods move into the houses on either side of his and begin to vie for his affections and the chance to become his bride. The episodes included in this edition of the surprisingly deep anime series are a far cry from the BEACH BLANKET BINGO and THREE'S COMPANY-style antics of previous installments. This time it's a bit more RESERVOIR DOGS--just with more comedy and hot girls--as kidnapping and acts of violence are what's on this menu.
